Nádherné památky, přívětiví lidé, levné a dobré jídlo, slušné ubytování v blízkosti památek. Doprava dobrá, ale je třeba vědět jak na to. Koupit Istanbul card ( ne jízdenky pro jednotlivé jízdy ) a dobít si ji alespoň za 20 až 50 lir. Je použitelná pro víc lidí. Není přestupná.
Památky zajímavé, určitě stálo za to je vidět, plavba 2.5 hod po pobřeží Bospor "dlouhá" .. jídlo všude bez výjimky excellent a za skvělé ceny .. lidé od zaměstnanců hotelu / Mercure Bomonti Istanbul ***** / až po obsluhy v několika restauracích nebo taxikáře jedno velké zklamání .. žádné úsměvy .. všude samá arogance .. naštvané obličeje a nezdvořilost .. taxikáři podvádějí - nechtějí zapínat taxametr, když je na to upozorníte, jsou vulgární .. nebo do Istanbulu jsem se moc těšila ale za celou mojí "cestovatelskou kariéru" jsem byla ráda když jsem přistála zpět v ČR .. jednou stačilo :))
Bohužel byla zima, ale i tak jsme si Istanbulu velice užili. Prošli jsme všechny nej turistické aktrakce. Nejvíce na nás zapůsobila Cisternová Bazilika a Galatská věž, také nový sultánský palác Dolmabahce. Velice nás překvapilo množství mešit v celém městě. Doprava ve městě skvělá, ale neexistují zřejmě jízdní řády, plánky dopravy busů a jejich trasy. Trajekty jezdí jen do 22 hodin. Pokud má letdalo zpoždění jako naše, trajektem se již do Evropy z Asie nedostanete. Naštěstí jsou Turci velmi ochotní a vždy poradí. Jeden Turek nás busem dovezl na nádraží vlaků, poradil, že máme projet vlakem pod Bosporem a tam na stanici Sirkeci vystoupit a přestoupit na tramvaj, neboť jsme chtěli na Sultanahmed. Díky němu jsme se rychle dopravili a již ve 23 hodin jsme byli na ubytování. Aktivit je v Istanbulu mnoho, určitě bychom doporučili jet lodí po Bosporu nebo Zlatý roh. Jsme rádi, že jsme v Istanbulu mohli být a užít si ho. Děkujeme.

Naprosto spokojená. Personál milý a hlavně vstřícný. Hotel/pokoj, v pohodě uklízečky uklizi,je stále čisto. Na pokoji varná konvice, každý den doplňování kávy a čaje,což je moc super,děkuji. Snídaně v rámci ceny,tez kvalitní. Urcite kdybych navštívila Istanbul znovu tak jedine do hotelu Ağan. 😊
Vidět Istanbul stojí za cestu, víkend úplně stačí. Turistů je tu opravdu hodně i mimo sezónu, fronty na všechny památky jsou zcela běžné a ceny za návštěvu vysoké.
A fantastic location in cool Karakoy. Close to the Bosphorus and lots of water and land transport .The Galata tower is 10 minutes away and 20 minutes walk to major tourist attractions. Across the street is Namli gourmet offering outstanding tapas style foods. The staff were fantastically helpful and Cemil kindly upgraded our room to a sea view as there was availability. The room was sparkling clean, spacious and the bathroom too. Highly recommended.
We were so impressed by the architecture, hospitality and the friendliness of the staff. Kamal and Cihan took especially good care of us and recommended the best tours tourist attractions. The hotel is as beautiful and unique as the photos. The breakfast included was an amazing spread of Turkish cuisine that was one of the best I have had. We highly recommend this hotel. Our room was very cozy and nice and the equipment was more than sufficient. We also loved the location. You will reach the ferry port in 7 minutes, small grocery shops are just 3mins away and they are usually opened until late evening and also the famous Dolmabahce palace is also close within 15-20 mins walking. In the end i have to mention nice and helpful owner of this accomondation.
Metropolitan hotel is the perfect place to stay in Istanbul. They have nice staff, but the most fascinating thing was the view to Bosphorus and the perfect restaurant on the 7-th floor, with wonderful meals. Room a large, very well designed and clean. I have been to many places in Istanbul, but this ona likes me most.
Their hospitality is great.. very kind and helpful.. Special thank to the staff member "Mehmet Akuron" who helped us a lot during our stay, he is very fast and response, very polite and a gentleman. I do recommend this hotel, once you are there just ask for this guy.

The location is perfect! So close to many cafes and restaurants and walking distance to all the attractions if you don’t mind a walk. The hotel staff are so friendly. Kaan helped me out so much booking tours and taxis for me, very helpful!
I like the location and the hotel is clean. No noise at all. The person at the front dest "Tayfun" was very cooperative and friendly. All what we requisted was provided. Breakfast was also good with different varieties.
