V Istanbulu sem bil že tolikokrat, da mi je kar domač. Najljubši kotiček mi je Erenler kadilnica vodnih pip zraven bazarja. Kadar te zebe in to pot nas je kar precej, je idealno zavetišče za preživeti urico na toplem. Ostalih znamenitosti si nismo ogledovali, ker smo skoraj vse že večkrat videli. Novost je bil edino Vojaški muzej blizu Taksima, ki je bil nekoč Vojna akademija, katere gojenec je bil tudi Mustafa Kemal. Hoteli smo iti z ladjico na Prinčeve otoke, a smo si zaradi slabega vremena premislili. Jedli smo v hotelu in v lokalih v bližini. Potovanje po mestu je enostavno, tramvaj in metro vozita na par minut. Tudi taksi je cenovno ugoden.

Jast sam v Istanbulu že bil 6..7 krat tako da se znajdem koristim tramvaj, Metro, Busu vse je po ceni je veliko za vidjeti ..
Ogledi znamenitosto. Egiptovski bazar in nakupovalne ulice okoli njega. Erenler nargile kadilnica vodnih pip pri Velikem bazarju. Izvrstna ponudba morske hrane v restavraciji pri ribji tržnici, razni kebebi v lokalčkih blizu hotela in v hotelu samem. Potovanje po mestu z metrojem, tramvajem ladjami in trajekti. Cene zelo ugodne.
Zelo zanimivo mesto in kultura. Ogromno znamenitosti in zgodovine. Stičišče Evrope in Azije. Utrip bazarja je nekaj posebnega, kar ne doživiš v Evropi.
A fantastic location in cool Karakoy. Close to the Bosphorus and lots of water and land transport .The Galata tower is 10 minutes away and 20 minutes walk to major tourist attractions. Across the street is Namli gourmet offering outstanding tapas style foods. The staff were fantastically helpful and Cemil kindly upgraded our room to a sea view as there was availability. The room was sparkling clean, spacious and the bathroom too. Highly recommended.
We were so impressed by the architecture, hospitality and the friendliness of the staff. Kamal and Cihan took especially good care of us and recommended the best tours tourist attractions. The hotel is as beautiful and unique as the photos. The breakfast included was an amazing spread of Turkish cuisine that was one of the best I have had. We highly recommend this hotel. As the wise Kamal says this is your second home 😀

Our room was very cozy and nice and the equipment was more than sufficient. We also loved the location. You will reach the ferry port in 7 minutes, small grocery shops are just 3mins away and they are usually opened until late evening and also the famous Dolmabahce palace is also close within 15-20 mins walking. In the end i have to mention nice and helpful owner of this accomondation.
Metropolitan hotel is the perfect place to stay in Istanbul. They have nice staff, but the most fascinating thing was the view to Bosphorus and the perfect restaurant on the 7-th floor, with wonderful meals. Room a large, very well designed and clean. I have been to many places in Istanbul, but this ona likes me most.
Their hospitality is great.. very kind and helpful.. Special thank to the staff member "Mehmet Akuron" who helped us a lot during our stay, he is very fast and response, very polite and a gentleman. I do recommend this hotel, once you are there just ask for this guy.
